MAURIMAT 2012
“MATEMÀTICS EN EL TEMPS”
Poques persones saben que un matemàtic va arribar a ser Papa, que una dona havia de fer-se passar per home per a poder publicar les seves troballes, que hi ha hagut matemàtics que s'han robat descobriments, un altre va morir ofegat a l'aigua pels seus descobriments, que també hi ha hagut nobles que han estat matemàtics ...
Els matemàtics són éssers de carn i ossos. La matemàtica no és una ciència estanca que sempre ha existit, sinó que ha tengut avenços i retrocessos. Està viva ... encara que no tots ho percebin així.
La Idea:
Aquest joc pretén que ens iniciem en la investigació, cercant en llibres i en totes aquelles fonts que se'ns puguin ocórrer, la vida d'alguns matemàtics famosos. Per aconseguir això anirem facilitant pistes sobre un matemàtic de manera que amb elles haureu d'esbrinar de qui es tracta.
Evidentment les pistes van graduades en dificultat, partint de les més difícils a les més fàcils.

Les regles del joc:
- La investigació es durà a terme pels alumnes de tot l’institut que hi vulguin participar.
- Es disposarà de 10 pistes per a cada matemàtic, graduades en dificultat.
- Cada setmana, els dimarts i els divendres, es penjaran dues noves pistes al Maurifull digital i als passadissos de l’institut.
- Si s'encerta amb la primera pista es concediran 10 punts
- Per cada pista nova que es doni cal treure 1 punt del total.
- Cada alumne lliurarà per escrit o per e-mail (a isimo@iesamaura.net) el treball final, argumentant la seva elecció, en el moment que cregui conèixer qui és el personatge.
- Per a la valoració global es comptarà amb quantes pistes s’ha arribat a la solució i se sumaran fins a 10 punts per a la presentació i originalitat del treball lliurat. Així, com a màxim, es poden obtenir 20 punts per personatge encertat.
- En acabar amb un matemàtic s’iniciaran les pistes per al següent i es publicarà un llistat d’alumnes participants amb les puntuacions provisionals.
Premis:
S’estableixen quatre categories:
- Alumnes de 1r i 2n d’eso de l’IES Antoni Maura. Premi: Llibre de matemàtiques per al curs vinent + targeta regal de 20€
- Alumnes de 3r i 4t d’eso de l’IES Antoni Maura. Premi: Llibre de matemàtiques per al curs vinent + targeta regal de 20€
- Alumnes de 1r i 2n de BATX de l’IES Antoni Maura. Premi: Llibre de matemàtiques per al curs vinent + targeta regal de 20€
- Alumnes dels instituts estrangers participants en el projecte Comenius. Premi: Regal matemàtic

The Idea:
This game aims to initiate us in the research, looking at books and all sources that may occur to us, the lives of some famous mathematicians. To achieve this we will provide clues about a mathematician and with them you will have to find out who it is.
Obviously the clues are graded in difficulty, starting from the most difficult to easiest.
